Ex-Russian PM to run for presidency
MOSCOW, June 2: Former Prime Minister Mikhail Kasyanov was nominated on Saturday by his opposition movement to run in next year’s presidential election and promised to stop the Kremlin orchestrating the vote in its favour. Polls show Kasyanov’s liberal, pro-Western views are out of step with Russian public opinion.—Reuters
