LAHORE, June 1: Four robbers took away cash and valuables worth Rs2 million from a house in Naseerabad, police said on Friday. The robbers barged into the house of Abdul Samee in M-Block, Gulberg III, and held his family at gunpoint, broke open locks, and fled after collecting cash, jewellery, foreign currency, watches and cameras worth Rs2 million, police said the victim family told them. Naseerabad police registered a case.
Besides, Naseerabad hold-up, three robbers looted Muhammad Mushtaq in Nishtar Colony, police said. Mushtaq was travelling on his motorcycle, when three men stopped him near Liaqat Haveli at gunpoint and snatched Rs10,000 and a cell phone from him, police said.
Two motorcyclists came to a cell phone outlet in Factory Area, held owner Muhammad Shakeel at gunpoint and looted Rs3,600 and two cell phones from him.
In Model Town, two robbers looted a cell phone from Dr Ahmed Jawad of Children’s Hospital.
Izhar Ahmed was deprived of Rs60 and a cell phone when four robbers, riding two motorcycles, stopped him near 11-Canal Park in Ghalib Market.
