ATTOCK, June 1: Five members of a family were killed on Friday in a road accident on the G.T. Road near Gondal area, the police said. The family was travelling to Lahore from Peshawar by car (LWQ-8367) when their vehicle collided with a truck (PRK-1355) in the limits of the Attock Khurd police station.

As a result, five occupants of the car — Mohammad Rafique, his son Mohammad Shafqat (driver), Mohammad Akram, Akmal Majeed and Rana Ghulam Farid — died on the spot.
