KARACHI, May 31: Nazimabad Gymkhana outplayed Malir Companion by nine wickets to qualify for the quarter-finals of the NBP-KCCA Super League Colour Kit cricket tournament on Wednesday at the KCCA Stadium on Wednesday.

Nazimabad Gymkhana’s leg-spinner Mansoor captured five wickets to help his side restrict Malir Companion to 113. Later, Nazimabad Gymkhana reached the target with ease for the loss of only one wicket.

Earlier, Al-Noor Gymkhana outclassed Al-Mansoora Cricket Club by eight wickets to confirm a place in the quarter-finals.

In the meantime, Rising Star Cricket Club defeated Rangers Gymkhana by three wickets. Rangers Gymkhana’s Mohammad Asif made an explosive 119 however failed to save his team from the defeat.—Agencies
