QUETTA, May 30: Wadera Khan Mohammad Kalpar and his wife have alleged that the SHO of the Sui police station and the Punjab police arrested their son in Multan on Wednesday morning at the behest of the Military Intelligence (MI) in order to pressurise the family to reach a compromise with their rival Jalal Khan Kalpar.

Speaking at a press conference at the press club here on Wednesday, the wife of Wadera Kalpar said she feared that her son Anwar Ali Kalpar would be implicated in a murder case and the family would be forced to bow to the wishes of the Military Intelligence.

She alleged that under MI’s patronage, Jalal Kalpar was running the affairs of the Sui town and he had killed her son Farman Ali and her brother Mir Ahmed.

Now the intelligence agency, she said, was forcing the family to reach an agreement with him and forgive the killers.
