By Our Correspondent

DADU, May 30: Five members of a family, including three women, were injured by criminals when they offered resistance during a day-time robbery at their house on Daro road here on Wednesday.

A group of five armed men barged into the house of Attaullah Soomro and started looting gold ornaments and other valuable items. They opened fire when the inmates offered resistance.

As a result, Attaullah, Saifullah, Zahida, Moran and Naseem received bullet injuries. They were taken to the Civil Hospital where they were admitted.

Later, members of the family, their relatives and citizens staged a protest demonstration against the incident, demanding immediate arrest of the robbers.
