Islamic common market

KARACHI, May 30: Tariq Sayeed, former president FPCCI and member international advisory panel of World Islamic Economic Forum (WIEF) has said that the ideal of Islamic Common Market should be approached in stages, says a press release.

Addressing the workshop on general trade and business opportunities at the 3rd forum held in Kuala Lumpur on Tuesday he said that some of the factors for poor growth performance of the Muslim states were the inconsistent economic policies, reliance only on few primary products and discriminatory policies of the developed countries on import of manufactured goods from the Muslim world.
