KARACHI, May 30: “My Karachi” exhibition, which will have 36 stalls of Sri Lanka, seven of Indonesia, three of India, two of Bangladesh and one each of France and Germany, will be inaugurated by Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ibad Khan at the Expo Centre on Friday (June 1).
“The exhibition will play an important role in restoring hustle and bustle of the Quaid's city, highlighting its soft image and introducing country's products at international level.”
This was stated by Sindh Minister for Industries Mohammed Adil Siddiqi while chairing a meeting held in connection with the My Karachi Exhibition here on Wednesday.
The meeting was attended, among others, by KCCI president Majyd Aziz, former President Siraj Kassem Teli and exhibition convenor Shamoon Bakar.
Addressing the meeting, Adil Siddiqi said although activities in Karachi have normalised, it has been decided to hold the exhibition in a simple manner.
Majyd Aziz thanked the Sindh government and specially Adil Siddiqi for helping them at every level and in making the exhibition a success.—APP
