SIALKOT, May 29: Almost all CNG station owners observed two-hour strike on Tuesday in the district against the kidnapping of their fellow.

Reports said CNG station owners of Sialkot, Daska, Sambrial and Pasrur tehsils closed their business for two hours, expressing concern over the deteriorating law and order situation.

On Monday, four accused had kidnapped Daska-based CNG station owner Muhammad Nawaz Cheema along with his two employees Wajid and Mohsin from Gadiyaala-West village when they were on way home. Later, the kidnappers had demanded Rs10 million as ransom for their release. Sambrial police have registered a case with no arrest or recovery.
