SIALKOT, May 28: The PML-N on Monday celebrated Youm-i-Takbeer by holding ceremonies in various towns. Addressing a big meeting held at PML-N’s office on Paris Road here, party’s central leader and MNA Khwaja Muhammad, MPA Engineer Imran Ashraf and other local leaders including Sahibzada Iftikharul Hassan, Manshaullah Butt and Idris Ahmad Bajwa paid rich tributes to the exiled former prime minister Mian Nawaz Sharif for making Pakistan the first Islamic nuclear power.

They strongly criticized the government for confining national hero Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan.

OKARA: Three different functions were held under the PML-N in the city.

At a meeting at the residence of city PML-N president Fayyaz Ghori, former state minister and district president Mian Muhammad Zaman and his son MPA Mian Yawar Zaman spoke to activists.

Other functions were organised by Mirza Naeem Baig and provincial joint secretary Mian Muhammad Munir.

MANDI BAHAUDDIN: A meeting was held at the residence of district PML-N chief Dewaan Mushtaq Ahmed, which was attended by a large number of party workers.

BAHAWALPUR: The PML-N organised gathering at the residence of MPA Malik Muhammad Iqbal Channar which was largely attended by the activists and supporters of the party.
