KHAIRPUR, May 28: A man and woman were killed in Fatoo Siyal Chachar village, in the jurisdiction of Mehboob Kalhoro police station, on Sunday night on the pretext of karo-kari.
Reports said that one Gulzar Chachar opened fire on his wife Mehmooda 23, and Nek Mohammad Chachar. Both of them died on the spot.
Nek Mohammad Chachar, a resident of Naseerabad, was staying at Gulzar's house as a guest.
Post-mortem of the body of woman was conducted at Gambat taluka hospital and that of the man at the basic health unit Agra.
The police claimed to have arrested accused Gulzar Chachar. However, no case was lodged till the filing of this report.
