KARACHI, May 28: The Sindh Minister for Environment and Alternative Energy, Dr Saghir Ahmed, directed the Karachi Water and Sewerage Board (KWSB) to utilise its expertise to ensure provision of clean potable water.

He said this while talking to a delegation, comprising residents of Jamshed Town UC 10, which called on him at his office here on Monday.

The minister said that the present government was striving to provide basic necessities of life to the citizens at their doorsteps.

He said industries would be asked to install treatment plants and smoke controlling equipment.—PPI
