‘Punjab govt implemented Sindh order’


LAHORE, May 27: The Punjab Home department says restrictions on Imran Khan to leave the city is strictly in accordance with the law.

A spokesman of department said on Friday since the Sindh government had “banned his entry into the province for 30 days, therefore, restriction on him to leave Lahore is the implementation of the Sindh government decision. Restriction on him to leave the city is strictly in accordance with the law,” the spokesman said.

Police said on Sunday no force had been deployed outside the residence of Imran Khan in Zaman Park. Civil Lines DSP Imtiaz Sarwar said that the PTI leader was free to move in the city.
