KARACHI: Drive to end in rulers’ ouster: Qaim

KARACHI, May 27: President of the PPP, Sindh, Syed Qaim Ali Shah has said that blood of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives during the movement for the independence of the judiciary would not go waste.

“The May 12 would always be remembered as the black day in the history of Pakistan,” he said, adding that the movement under way from Karachi to Khyber would not stop until the tyrant rulers were ousted.

Mr Shah expressed these views during his visit to different localities, including Al-Haider Society, Drig Road, Golden Town, Dawood Chowrangi and Natha Khan Goth. He condoled the death of a party worker, Shahbaz Mustafa, who was killed in the May 12 violence, and inquired about health of Mohammad Irfan, Akbar and Sajid Awan. He also inquired about the health of a PPP leader, Amanullah Yousufzai.

Rashid Rabbani, Waqar Mehdi, Rafique Engineer, Dr Mohan Lal, Sajid Jokhio and others accompanied Mr Shah.—PPI
