KARACHI, May 23: Five ships carrying containers and DAP fertiliser are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Thursday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was modest where three ships, APL Sokhna, Nydan and Oel Esteem to unload and load containers were berthed after the departure of as many.

The ships which departed included Gulf Bridge, MoL Admiration and Iran Hesabi, while APL Sokhna, Sea Princes and G. Glaxy are due to sail out on Thursday.

A total tonnage of 0.106m tons comprising 15,703 tons of export tonnage including 9,101 tons of cement and 90,262 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Thursday: Johar with crude oil, Comorin Pride, Conti Harmony and PAC Antlia with containers and Kee Lung with 35,000 tons of DAP fertiliser.
