WASHINGTON, May 22: US President George W. Bush has picked a new US ambassador to Pakistan, the White House said on Tuesday. Mr Bush will nominate Anne Patterson, an assistant secretary at the Department of State, to the post, spokesman Tony Snow said.—AFP
