KARACHI, May 22: An 18-year-old woman was beaten to death allegedly by her husband.
Model Colony police said Nazir, hailing from Kashmore, hit his wife, Allah Rakhi, with a cricket bat in their house in Sheet 24.
The woman, who received fatal injuries to her head, died before she could be shifted to hospital. Nazir fled following the incident.
Police said they had mounted a search for the suspect, who was a labourer.
