PESHAWAR, May 21: Pakistan on Monday handed over four mobile hospitals to Afghan authorities as part of its ongoing efforts to help rebuild the war-ravaged country.
Afghan Consul-General Abdul Khaliq Farahi received the mobile hospitals from Saleem Akhter, Director of Afghan Trade and Development Cell of Foreign Ministry, says a handout.
This is the second batch of 16 mobile hospitals worth Rs58 million to be donated to Afghanistan. The first four vans had already been delivered, which are equipped with the state-of-the-art technology, including an operation theatre, ECG and X-Ray units.
Afghan Consul-General Abdul Khaliq Farahi praised Pakistani cooperation in rebuilding infrastructure in Afghanistan.
