Principal commits suicide

SANGHAR, May 19: The principal of the Vocational Training Centre, Mirpurkhas, Abdul Latif Saand, committed suicide by shooting himself in the temple at Chand Colony, Tando Adam, on Saturday. His body was handed over to relatives after post-mortem.

According to the son of the deceased, Mumtaz Saand, his father was a cardiac patient and recently transferred from Hyderabad to Mirpurkhas. Due to his illness, he could not join his duties in Mirpurkhas as result his salary was stopped and the family started facing financial constraints.

He said that his father was dejected and ended his life.
