Bridge: Pakistan claim 2nd position
KARACHI, May 18: India and Pakistan have qualified for Bermuda Bowl by claiming first two positions in the 14th Asia & Middle East bridge championship at a local hotel on Friday.
India with 280 victory points (VPs) grabbed the first position at the conclusion of the 14th round of the triple league competition. Pakistan scored 238 points for the second place.
Both the countries will feature in the Bermuda Bowl which will be held in Shanghai, China in September/October.
Bangladesh secured third spot with 221 VPs.—APP
