KARACHI, May 18: The Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) has arranged three foreign coaches for imparting training to boxers, spikers and wrestlers in the first phase of national training camps for 11th South Asian Games being held at Dhaka next year.
The PSB has picked ten disciplines in which sportspersons are to undergo extensive drills in camps at different venues across the country. The camps in seven disciplines have already commenced while training in rest of the three are due to start soon.
The first phase of training camps ends on June 30 while the second phase begins from July 1, according to PSB.
The disciplines are athletics, badminton, boxing, judo, karate, swimming, table tennis, volleyball, weightlifting and wrestling.
The sportswomen have been invited in six of the ten disciplines but with the exception of judo, no arrangement of women coaches has been made in other sports.
