PESHAWAR, May 17: The federal government has transferred the assistant director (audit), NWFP, Mian Aftab Ali Shah, and posted him as the budget and accounts officer of the Public Works Department in Islamabad.

According to a notification issued by the auditor-general of Pakistan, Mr Shah has been directed to take charge of his new assignment with immediate effect.—Bureau
