KARACHI, May 17: Three ships carrying general cargo and containers are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Friday, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was modest where four ships, Y.M. Energy, Hyundai Advance, to unload and load containers, Antares-G, to unload coal, and Primrose Ace, to offload cars.

But sailing on the other hand were fairly active as nine ships departed. They are: Maersk Bristol, Jade Trader, Y.M.Faha, Oel Express, Dong Hua Men, Id Trader, Diamond Progress, Xaing Cheng, and APL Yokohama.

Four others, Kapsali, Y.M. Energy, Corin Thaikos, and Bunga Melati-4 are due to sail out on Friday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was maintained on the higher side where a total tonnage of 0.123m tons comprising 16,290 tons of export cargo, including 5,580 tons of cement and 0.106m tons of import tonnage was handled on Thursday.

The following ships are due on Friday; Malak-1, with general cargo, Oel Victory, and Calvin P.Titus, with containers.
