Gastroenteritis claims life

GUJRANWALA, May 16: A man died of gastroenteritis while about a dozen children were hospitalised on Wednesday.

Khalid, 45, of Mianwali Bangla village was rushed to the DHQ hospital where he died some hours later. Meanwhile, the condition of children Ali, Talha, Ruqia and Hajra were stated to be serious.

Doctors have advised the people to drink boiled water and avoid taking stale food.
