Corruption alleged

CHITRAL, May 16: The residents of Reshun village have alleged that corruption was being committed in the Aga Khan Rural Support Programme (AKRSP) and urged the federal government and the donor organisations to probe into the matter.

They claimed that despite the expenditure of billions of rupees over the past 24 years, the organisation could not show any tangible development project.

Addressing a press conference here on Wednesday, the elites of the village alleged that a hefty amount of the allocated amount had been embezzled.
