HYDERABAD, May 16: Police lodged a case against more than 400 people who participated in a rally organised by the Sindh Taraqqi-Pasand Party in protest against Karachi killings on charges of violating section 144 imposed by the Sindh government.

Bhittai Naggar police registered the FIR under section 188 PPC on the complaint of SHO of the police station, which surprisingly made no mention of any party leader including STP Chairman Dr. Qadir Magsi, PPP's Maula Bux Chandio, SNF's Gul Mohammad Jakhrani, MMA's Abdul Waheed Qureshi and Sheikh Shaukat who addressed the rally.
