KARACHI, May 16: The Imamia Students Organization, Karachi chapter, staged a protest demonstration in front of the Karachi Press Club on Wednes-day against ‘unjustified existence of Zionist State Israel’.
Holding placards and banners, the protestors chanted slogans like ‘Down with the US’, ‘Israel not Acceptable’ and ‘Long live Shiite-Sunni unity’. They also set ablaze the flags of the US and Israel.
Addressing the demonstrators, Karachi ISO President Syed Ali Naqvi said following evil designs of greater Israel, the US was trying to create unrest and strife in Ummah. “Today Ummah has recognised its real enemy,” he said, adding that the Ummah is now united in its support for Hamas and Hezbollah and giving steadfast resistance against such evil designs.
ISO vice-chief Raza Zaidi vowed to continue supporting Hamas and Hezbollah till Palestinians were given their due rights.—PPI
