Pakistani says he was tortured

WASHINGTON, May 15: A Pakistani resident of the United States charged he has been “mentally tortured” by his jailors at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, and attempted suicide by chewing on an artery, a transcript released on Tuesday said.

Majid Khan presented a “Statement of Torture” to a military tribunal at Guantanamo that is reviewing his status as an “enemy combatant,” with a torrent of complaints over his treatment since arriving at Guantanamo in September.
