DUBAI, May 15: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the officials for the Pakistan-Sri Lanka ODI series in Abu Dhabi and Afro-Asia Cup, to be held in India.

Sri Lanka will take on Pakistan in a three-match ODI series in Abu Dhabi from May 18 to be overseen by India’s Javagal Srinath, of the ICC Elite Panel of Match Referees.

For the first ODI in Abu Dhabi, the on-field umpires will be Mark Benson (Elite Panel) and Suresh Shastri (International Panel) while the third umpire will be Russell Tiffin (International Panel).

In the second game at the same venue on May 20 the on-field umpires will be Shastri and Tiffin with Benson as the third umpire. In the third and final ODI on May 22, Benson and Tiffin will stand on the field while Shastri will act as the third umpire.

The Afro-Asia Cup will be staged in India next month with a combined Asian team locking horns with a joint African side in three ODIs. The first ODI will be played at Bangalore on June 6, while the second and third, on June 8 and 10 in Chennai.

The match referee for the series will be Chris Broad.
