KHAIRPUR, May 15: About 36 people, including the District President and Secretary of the Sindh People’s Students Federation (SPSF), were nominated in four separate FIRs on Tuesday night for attacking a private clinic and MQM unit offices.
An ASI of the B-section Police Station, Khairpur lodged the FIR under section 341, 337-H2, 427, 147, 149 PPC against Zakir Hisbani and Ali Gul Khaskheli, district president and secretary of SPSF respectively, Imran Dahote, Tahir Shah and Mohammad Bux Mughal.
They were accused of torching tyres on Janwari road and damaging a private clinic in Sadoro Janwari village.
MQM worker Fateh Mohammad Rind lodged the FIR with B-section police station against Shahnawaz Janwari, Mohammad Bux Mughal and five unidentified men alleging that they also attacked MQM unit office and damaged its furniture and other record.
MQM workers Shafi Mohammad Mughal and Farid Nawaz lodged two separate FIRs with the A-section police station under section 476, 147, 149, 427 PPC against 12 unidentified people in each FIR.
They alleged that the accused attacked the MQM unit office in Dabbar and Bughri mohallas and also set its furniture on fire.
