KARACHI, May 15: The Sindh government has released Rs19.5 million to the DCO through the home department for providing relief to the bereaved families of victims and injured for medical treatment of recent disturbances in Karachi.
According to a press release, on the special instruction of Adviser to Chief Minister on Finance M.A. Jalil, the finance department has released the amount.
Regretting over the incidents which occurred during disturbances, he said the department would also make arrangements for release of more funds, if required.
