LONDON, May 14: World oil prices climbed on Monday, breaching $67 a barrel in London, as the market focused on concerns over tight supplies, traders said. In London, the price of Brent North Sea crude for June delivery gained 51 cents to $67.34 per barrel in electronic trading.
New York's main oil futures contract, light sweet crude for delivery in June, won 57 cents to $62.94 per barrel in electronic deals before the official open of the US market.
Crude futures had risen strongly on Friday after the International Energy Agency warned of tighter supplies ahead.—AFP
