LAHORE, May 12: Four-year-old filly, Lovely Gate, will be on trot to display her speed and staying power to win the feature event during the Day/Night Lahore Summer Meeting at the Racecourse on Sunday.

The Kasur Plate, a class IV division 11 handicap race featuring the card of six event to be gone over 1300m will be the sixth and last event of the day. Only six runners will face the starter barring last-minute withdrawals.

Javaid Khalid, owned filly, Lovely Gate after winning a class IV division 111 handicap race over 1300m on April 22 was placed third in the class IV division 1 and 11 over 1200m on May 6. On handicap and form she has an edge over top weight filly Noor.

Khawaja M. Atif 's chestnut colt, Harry Can Run, who ran a good second to Lucifer in the April cup over 1400m last Sunday looks better placed in the fifth and supporting event, Kasur Plate class IV division 111 over 1300m

The colt has only to beat gelding Cross Ruff, who is consistently appearing on the board during his last four outings.

Three-year-old filly, Poly Cat, who registered a facile win last outing on April 29, will be attempting to make it two in-a-row in the fourth race to be contested over 1100m.

Owned by Shoaib Tariq, the daughter of Polinesso out-of-Huckitta, Poly Cat will have Run And Win and Puma The Great constant thorns in her way to success.

The third race comprises the biggest field of 18 runners, if there are no last-minute withdrawals. Of them Janu, Safe And Sound are the form contestants. They should finish in the same order. The race is to be contested over 1100 metres.

The field consists of many pedigreed animals but they have not yet shown any form.

Crystal Heart, Chuey Muey, Nomi The Hunter and Royal Palace look good in the second race.

They should fight it to decide about the winner with Crystal Heart getting advantage of her easy win on last outing.

He opener comprises seven runners. Of them two come into reckoning, namely, First Dream Wendy in the same order.
