Man deprived of Rs3.5m, vehicle

ISLAMABAD, May 12: An imposter deprived a man of Rs3.5 million cash and a vehicle in return for 100 Korean visas.

Bhutto Khan, a property dealer, lodged a complaint with Industrial Area police, stating that Mohammad Nadeem, who introduced himself as a colonel of an intelligence agency, offered him 100 work visas for South Korea for Rs7 million.

He said he paid Rs3.5 million and also gave him his sports utility vehicle (Pajero). However, the accused failed to arrange the visas. When he demanded his money and car back, Nadeem refused to do so, Mr Khan said. A case has been registered with the Industrial Area police against Nadeem and investigations started.—Staff Reporter
