Chinese women to be deported

Bureau Report

PESHAWAR, May 12: The government would deport four Chinese women who were arrested in Khyber Agency on charges of entering Afghanistan without legal documents, officials said.

A senior investigator said the Federal Investigation Agency had interrogated the Chinese nationals and they were likely to be handed over to their embassy in Islamabad for deportation.

However, their two Afghan companions would be tried in Pakistan, he said.
