PESHAWAR, May 10: Seven people were killed and 25 others were injured when a flash flood hit a village in Karak district on Thursday, police said. An official of the Sabirabad police station told Dawn by phone that widespread rains triggered flood in the area which struck Malagi Banda village, some 20 kilometres south of Karak town.

Quoting residents of the area, he said that heavy flood washed away many houses in the village.
