Blast destroys saloon in Lower Dir

By Our Correspondent

TIMERGARAH (Lower Dir), May 9: Unknown miscreants blew up a hair-cutting saloon at Lal Qila in Maidan area on Wednesday night. The saloon that was adjacent to a police station was owned by a local barber, Hameedullah Khan. No casualty was reported.

The blast occurred at about 9.15pm creating panic in the area.

A week ago, two blasts had occurred near a hair-cutting saloon and a CD shop in the same area.

Barbers in both the Lower and Upper Dir districts had been receiving pamphlets from unknown miscreants asking them to stop shaving off beard or else face destruction of their shops.
