DUBAI, May 9: The International Cricket Council (ICC) announced umpire and match referee appointments for the upcoming Test and One-day International (ODI) series in Bangladesh and England.

Bangladesh play India in a three-match ODI series besides a two-Test rubber from May 10-29. Asoka de Silva will stand with local appointments in each of three ODIs on May 10 and 12 in Mirpur, Dhaka, and May 15 in Chittagong.

Umpires Daryl Harper and Billy Doctrove of the ICC Elite Panel will stand in both Tests which will be held from May 18-22 in Chittagong and May 25-29 in Mirpur. Both the series (ODIs and Tests) will be overseen by Roshan Mahanama as the match referee.

In England, the hosts take on the West Indies in a four-Test series from May 17-June 19. The first two Tests – May 17-21 at Lord's and May 25-29 at Headingley – will be supervised by on-field umpires Rudi Koertzen of South Africa and Asad Rauf of Pakistan, both in the Elite Panel.

The third and fourth Tests – June 7-11 at Old Trafford and June 15-19 at Chester-le-Street, Durham – will be umpired by New Zealand’s Billy Bowden and Pakistan’s Aleem Dar.

The entire Test series will be managed by Alan Hurst as the ICC match referee.The three-match ODI series between England and the West Indies – at Lord's (July 1), Edgbaston (July 4) and Trent Bridge (July 7) – will be umpired by Brian Jerling of the ICC International Panel. He will be joined by local appointments. South Africa’s Mike Procter will function as the match referee for the whole ODI series.—Agencies
