Five soldiers injured in attack

QUETTA, May 6: At least five security personnel were injured in a mortar attack in Tartani area of Kohlu district on Sunday.

According to official sources, militants fired mortar shells on a camp of security forces from mountains. “Three shells exploded in the camp area. One of them hit a camp and another destroyed a vehicle,” the sources said. The attackers escaped after an exchange of shells and fire.The security forces launched a search operation in the mountains.

Meanwhile, a caller identifying himself as Bebarg Baloch, spokesman for the Baloch Liberation Army, claimed that over a dozen security personnel had died in an attack in Tartani area.
