By Our Correspondent

KOHAT, May 6: A blast in the Kohat police lines on Sunday destroyed a store of seized explosives and damaged guns brought for repair.

Officials said the blast seemed to have been caused by a short circuit but an inquiry had been ordered.

They said the blast did not cause any casualty. The roof of the store was blown up. A fire caused by the blast was extinguished.

APP adds: “Around 200 weapons, including Kalashnikovs, defused bombs, arms and ammunition seized during various raids were destroyed or damaged,”

Kohat Police Deputy Insp-

ector-General Salahuddin said.
