LAHORE, May 6: A meeting of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is going to be held on Monday to approve the name of the vice-captain of the Abu Dhabi-bound Pakistan team.

According to sources, medium-pacer Mohammad Asif is a strong contender for the post.

All-rounder Shahid Afridi will also be considered for the job.

There are reports that the new selection committee will submit names of the Pakistan team in the meeting for approval.

Moreover, the meeting will also discuss domestic structure of cricket, including low salaries given to budding cricketers by various departments.
