Farhan qualifies for last four semi-finals
HYDERABAD, May 4: Farhan Mehboob of Wapda outclassed Aaqib Hanif of the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) in straight sets (11-8, 11-6, 11-6) to qualify for semi-finals of the first Hyderabad Men's Open squash championship at the Gymkhana on Friday.
In other quarter-finals, Sindh's Kashif beat Wasim Shad of Army 9-11, 11-7, 4-11, 11-9; Majid Khan of the (CAA) thrashed Shah Nawaz of Army 11-3, 11-8, 11-6; and Yasir Butt of Wapda defeated Waqar Mehboob of Air Force 8-11, 11-8, 11-7, 11-6.
Farhan faces Kashif while Yasir takes on Majid in the semi-finals on Saturday (today).
