PESHAWAR: Accord for linkage with UK schools


PESHAWAR, May 4: The NWFP department of schools and literacy and the British Council have agreed to establish linkage between selected government schools of the province and those in the United Kingdom.

The objective of the programme is to raise the standard of teaching and learning and giving opportunities to teachers for professional development.

The understanding was reached during a meeting presided over by NWFP Education Minister Maulana Fazle Ali Haqqani here on Friday.—PPI
