KARACHI: Hot weather


KARACHI, May 4: The Meteorological Office has forecast hot and humid weather with minimum temperature expected to range between 34 and 36 degrees centigrade for the city on Saturday.

Hot and dry weather would prevail in Hyderabad division while very hot and dry weather has been forecast for Mirpurkhas, Sukkur and Larkana divisions.

The highest temperature of 48 degrees centigrade was recorded at Turbat and the lowest temperature of 12.5 degrees centigrade at Kalat Hill Station, Balochistan on Friday.—PPI

The city remained in the grip of strong dusty winds for around an hour on Thursday evening, our reporter adds.

The Met official, when contacted, said it was a normal phenomenon for the city to get hit by the strong dusty winds in May.

The north western winds engulfed the city for around an hour between 7.30pm and 8.30pm, the Met office said.
