Karachi market rates


KARACHI, May 4: The following were Friday’s commodity market rates in rupees.

Oilseeds

RAPESEED (per 40 kg): Dadulane 900 to 910; Mirpurlane 910 to 945; Nawabshah 1030 to 1050; Castor Seed (Sindh) 780 to 800.

EDIBLE OILS (per 40 kg): Coconut oil 3,800 to 4,000; Rapeseed and Mustard oil 2,760 to 2,800; Ghee Vanaspati (per 16 kg) 980 to 1,040.

Cereals

BARELY (per 100 kg): 1,080 to 1,100; Bajra 1,000 to 1,300; Maize 1,000 to 1,200; Jowar 1,150 to 1,200; Wheat Mexi Pak 1,200 to 1,220; Maida (80 kg) 1,160 to 1,200; Suji 1,160 to 1,200; Atta 1,060 to 1,120.

RICE (per 100 kg): Basmati Karnel 3,900 to 4,800; 386

Basmati 3,200 to 3,250; Basmati 385 Saila 3,200; Basmati Broken 2,000 to 2,400; Basmati Super 3,700; Irri-6 Sindh 1,230 to 1,250; Irri-9 Sindh 2,000 to 2,400.

Pulses

WHOLE (per 100 kg): Mash imported 4,400; Masoor imported 3,500; Moong (Punjab) 4,000; Moong (Imported) 4,000; Gram Yellow 1,200 to 1,300.; Gram white Kabli 3,800 to 4,500; Gram Black 2,800 to 3,000 Arhar 2,800 to 3,000.

WASHED (per 40 kg): Maash 1,920 to 2,000; Moong 1,900 to 1,980; Masoor 1,320 to 1,360; Arhar 1,400 to 1,500; Gram (100 kg) 3,000 to 3,200.

SUGAR (per 40 kg): 1,120 to 1,140; Sugar Desi 1,800 to 1,900; Gur 1,200 to 1,300.

Spices
