KARACHI, May 2: Javed Mansoor and Imran Javed hit sparkling half-centuries while Faraz Ahmed produced a fine all-round show as Pakistan Cricket Club entered the PCB National Club Championship final, thrashing Korangi Al-Fateh Cricket Club by 107 runs in the semi-final at the KCCA Stadium here on Tuesday.
Javed made 72 laced with five boundaries and three sixes while Imran hit as many sixes in his 54 that also included two fours as Pakistan CC posted 286 in 49.4 overs, while batting first. Faraz Ahmed (47) and Waqas Haroon (44) were the other notable scorers.
Later, defending their target, the Pakistan CC bowlers dismissed Korangi Al-Fateh CC for 179 in 42.5 overs. Spinners Irfanuddin (3-24) and Adnan Kalim (3-49) were the main wicket-takers for the winners. Faraz Ahmed and Misbah Khan grabbed two wickets apiece.
Mubashir Ahmed (69) and Anis Sheikh (44) were the top scorers for Korangi Al-Fateh.
