LAHORE, May 2: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has cut down monthly salaries of 66 employees of the lower-staff whose services were restored recently.
The PCB had sacked 80 employees, including 11 high officials, last month. But after 48 hours, PCB chairman Dr Nasim Ashraf restored the services of the lower-staff on humanitarian ground.
The employees were shocked, when they received their salary slips on Wednesday, as huge reduction was made to their salaries. In some cases, the salary of a regular employee was reduced to just Rs4,500 from Rs22,000.
The employees termed the decision as an indirect tactic of the PCB to force them leave their jobs.
