SHEIKHUPURA, May 2: A lawyer was gunned down along with his security guard over some old enmity on Lahore Road in city area here on Wednesday afternoon.

Reports said lawyer Shahbaz Warraich along with his guard Noor Muhammad was his way home by a motorcycle. Near a CNG station, four unidentified motorists opened fire, killing them on the spot.

Police are investigating.

In other murder cases, three people were shot dead in different parts of Ferozewala tehsil on Wednesday. Accused Suleman and his three accomplices barged into the house of Shahadat in Barkatpura locality and shot him dead over monetary dispute.

Sharaqpur police are looking into the matter.

The second incident took place in Purani Bhani where a youth, Khurram, shot dead Asif over trivial issue.

Commission agent Anwar Bhula was gunned down by two unidentified assailants in Hadoki village.
