REPORT ON WOMAN’S DEATH: A preliminary report about a woman who died in suspicious circumstances in the Buthee Hakra village near Qambar on Tuesday, suggested that she might have been strangulated to death, sources said on Wednesday.
The in-laws of Ms Arbailee had told her parents who had come to receive the body that she had died after consuming poison. But injury marks around her neck noticed by relatives just before her burial in Shahdadkot belied their claim.
Late Arbailee’s father Shaukat Ali then filed an FIR at the Behram police station against Wazeer Ali Chandio, Naseer Chandio and Gulsher Chandio for allegedly killing her daughter.
Police arrested Naseer Chandio for further investigations while Arbailee’s husband escaped, said the sources.
Police and parents were still clueless as to what could be the reason behind the killing.
