HYDERABAD, May 2: A US national of Pakistani origin on Wednesday appealed to the government functionaries to get her illegally occupied bungalow in Karachi vacated.

She alleged that people occupying the property had prepared fake sale deeds carrying her husband’s forged signature who was a paralytic and settled in America.

Speaking at a press conference at the press club, Ms Tabassum Riaz said that before her husband showed signs of mental disorder, he had had a will prepared in 1998 bequeathing the bungalow in the PECHS of Karachi to her.

She said that her husband's will was filed with the registrar. Her entire family including her husband was settled in America while she returned to Pakistan four month ago and started living in the bungalow, she said

But some armed persons along with an estate agency owner barged into her home, locked her up on the upper floor and occupied the ground floor, she said.

They had had prepared two fake sale deeds containing fake signature of her husband, she said and added that she had submitted several applications to the authorities but no one took any notice of her plight, Ms Riaz said She appealed to the PPO and governor of Sindh to provide her justice.
